Unique Registration Facility / Participant Identification Code / Legal Entity Appointed Representative
Unique Registration Facility (URF) is an only system each organisation needs to use to register with the European Commission before participating in a project supported by EU's Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development - FP7. After registration, the organisation receives a Participant Identification Code (PIC) which needs to be used in all submissions and negotiations. Only one person per organisation, the Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR) maintains administrative and financial data. These contacts are managed via the Participant Portal (PP).
