National Information Point
National Information Points, such as National Contact Points (NCPs) are interlocutors for researchers or innovators to receive information about specific funding programmes. Usually there are specific organisations and people who receive a national mandate to disseminate the relevant programme-related information. In different programmes a different terminology is being used.
For example, in the programme EUREKA, "national information points" are based in non-member European countries which intend to join EUREKA, such as Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina. For FP7, the term NCP is used.
