Social-, Service-, and Eco-innovations in Bio-economy: "Made in Danube" best practice workshop on capacities and opportunities
The Danube macro-region provides ideal framework conditions for bio-economy due to high-quality natural resources, well-known universities and a strong industrial tissue of SMEs. However, the region is still lagging behind its possibilities and missing links between research and innovation hamper the access to required knowledge and resources. In such a context, and within the DTP "Made in Danube" project, the ZSI – Centre for Social Innovation (Vienna) in cooperation with the Union of Slovak Clusters (UKS) is organising a workshop to bring together representatives of higher education institutions, clusters, SMEs and NGOs, to foster local innovation capacity through good practises examples and knowledge exchange on cross-cutting issues related to bio-economy such social-, services- and eco-innovation.
The event will be held in Nitra, Slovakia, on 30th January 2018 in the context of the Made in Danube project funded by the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme. Online registrations are open by clicking here. Please find attached a draft agenda.
Please note that event will be held in English and only two participants per organisation will be accepted. For practical arrangements, please register yourself and do not hesitate to contact Ms Dominika Pancakova at firstname.lastname@example.org for any further information. The deadline for online registrations is 15/01/2018.
