Second workshop on a bioeconomy RTI strategy for the Danube Region

The workshop aims to develop a bioeconomy RTI-strategy and a related research and innovation agenda for the Danube Region. The event is organised within the pilot action "Towards a Danube bioeconomy RTI strategy for appropriate regional added value chains" and in connection with and directly following the 7th CASEE Conference.

Target group: Representatives from universities and ministries from the Danube region dealing with or interested in the development of a bio-economy RTI strategy, ICA CASEE network

Description and objective: The workshop aims at developing a common understanding of bioeconomy and results in a position paper for the Danube region. Current initiatives related to bio economy RTI strategies in the Danube region are presented and discussed. Additionally, the workshop will give the participants opportunity to develop a strategy process and research proposals. Information on appropriate project funding will be provided.

The workshop is organised within the pilot action "Towards a Danube bioeconomy RTI strategy for appropriate regional added value chains" and in connection with and directly following the 7th CASEE Conference.
