D6.31: Promotion material for joint funding activities

Deliverable D6.31 describes the provision of promotion and dissemination material on joint funding activities in the Danube Region in the frame of the Danube-INCO.NET. Several topics and activities to be supported by promotion activities were discussed in Task T6.3 among the project partners involved. In the meantime it was crucial to identify relevant events and opportunities where the material such as Danube-INCO.NET leaflets, flyers and posters could be disseminated and presented in a meaningful way and reaching the relevant target stakeholders.

The central elements for promoting funding activities were two calls launched in the frame of the EUREKA Programme. Support to other funding activities was in parallel discussed but proved not favourable.

The first EUREKA Danube call was launched in 2015 after a Danube-INCO.NET Workshop carried out in Task T6.1 (Funding Parties Meeting) jointly organised with EUREKA stakeholders in December 2014 in Vienna. This call was supported by printed material and a PowerPoint Presentation. The second EUREKA call launched in February 2017 and closed in March 2017 was mainly supported by an electronic matchmaking tool, including a database with institution’s profiles that turned out to be useful to support potential applicants. Some promotional material was produced; however it was not printed as originally foreseen due to a lack of adequate events with the target groups to be reached.
