Partner search for DTP 3rd Call - from Self-Government Office of Vas County
Vas County is situated at the very western border of Hungary, at the foot of the Alps and the Little Plain. It shares borders with Austria and Slovenia and the Hungarian counties Győr-Moson-Sopron, Veszprém and Zala. The Self-Government Office of Vas County is the economic organization of the Self-Government of Vas County.
At this time the Self-Government Office is searching for new partnerships – as a project consortium member – within DTP Call, mostly in the Priority 2 (Environment and Culture Responsible Danube Region) and 3 (Better Connected and Energy Responsible Danube Region).
The county is considered to be Hungary’s western gate to Europe and it plays a decisive role in the development of the local economy and society focusing on R&D.
- Organizing of county level regional development and mezo-level spatial planning
- Boosting economic & infrastructural development
- Managing and developing of international relations
- Participating in preparation, coordination and realization of development initiatives in and around Vas County
- Mobilizing partnerships of professional organizations in business, cultural and civic spheres of life
The Office is constituted of 5 departments, and employs 30 people. It is experienced in the creation, management and development of international relations having taken place as lead partner and also as project partner in the management of several international projects. Projects are financed by European Union Programs, such as Interreg SI-HU, Interreg AT-HU, Interreg Europe, Central Europe, Erasmus+, Europe for Citizens Program, COSME Program.
