Austria - Ukraine Scientific and Technological Cooperation (WTZ) - 2019 call
The programme supports researchers‘ mobility in the frame of joint research projects to stimulate international research cooperation and provides an opportunity for researchers to cooperate in an international setting and to develop their scientific careers, especially for early-stage, mid-career and female researchers. The Call is open to all scientific disciplines and thematic areas, including social sciences as well as humanities. The projects will be supported for a period of max. two years from January 2019 until December 2020.
The programme for Scientific and Technological Cooperation is carried out in the frame of the bilateral Agreement on Scientific and Technological Co-operation between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Austria, concluded in Kiev, on 6th June 2003 and is financed equally by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research ( BMBWF) and by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Who may apply?
Austria: Researchers working at Universities, Universities of Applied Sciences and other legal entities (e.g. higher education and research institutions, companies) planning to carry out a non-profit oriented research project. More information in the call text.
The researchers from Ukraine participating in this Programme, should be working at Universities, Research Institutions and organisations.
Proposals need to be submitted in both countries, for additional criteria please refer to the respective guidelines (see website / link).
