Austria - Czech Republic Scientific and Technological Cooperation (WTZ) - 2019 call
The programme supports researchers‘ mobility in the frame of joint research projects to stimulate international research cooperation and provides an opportunity for researchers to cooperate in an international setting and to develop their scientific careers, especially for early-stage, mid-career and female researchers. The Call is open to all scientific disciplines and thematic areas, including social sciences as well as humanities. The projects will be supported for a period of max. two years from January 2019 until December 2020

The programme for Scientific & Technological Cooperation is carried out in the frame of the bilateral “Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic on Cooperation in the field of Culture, Education, Science, Youth and Sports, and the Government of the Republic of Austria, signed in Vienna on November 21st 2008” and is financed equally by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) and by Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
Who may apply?
Austria: Researchers working at Universities, Universities of Applied Sciences and other legal entities (e.g. higher education and research institutions, companies) planning to carry out a non-profit oriented research project. More information in the call text.
Czech Republic: research organizations in accordance with Article 1.3 point. ee) Framework for State aid for research, development and innovation (2014 / C 198/01)
Proposals need to be submitted in both countries, for additional criteria please refer to the respective guidelines (see website / link).
